In order to mine the ore, the surrounding rock and the overlying rock should be stripped off. The ore and rock are transported to the surface unloading point through open trench or underground roadway. Some deposits are of large scale, shallow buried and even exposed to the surface. As long as the overlying strata and part of the surrounding rock are stripped off, the useful minerals can be directly excavated from the surface without driving a large number of shifts and gateways. This deposit is suitable for open pit mining.
