This summer, I went to Mazatlán with my family. We stayed there for two weeks and had a lot of fun. We stayed in a hotel close to the beach, so we went swimming almost every day. The water was warm and clear, and I liked walking on the sand and collecting seashells. We also went to the Malecón, where we walked around and took pictures. One day, we visited the city center and saw the big cathedral. We ate a lot of good food, especially seafood. My favorite was shrimp tacos. We also had ice cream almost every night. One of the best days was when we went on a boat ride to see the islands. I even saw some fish while snorkeling. It was very exciting. I also spent time with some cousins who live in Mazatlán. We played games and had fun together. The best part of the trip was being at the beach and spending time with my family. For this school year, I want to do well in my classes, pay attention, and try my best every day.
