hen students were released to do their work, this student put her head down and attempted to go to sleep. I redirected her, letting her know that if she were to fall asleep, she would have to stand while working on her lessons. She proceeded to take her headphones off and refused the work. A few minutes passed and I attempted to redirect again. I told her that because she missed school, she was behind on her lessons and needed to catch up to where the rest of the class was. She became loud and said that I was sharing all her business with the class (who have headphones on). I told her that this was not the case and that I was stressing the importance of completing the lessons. Student became very aggressive and loud saying that I am always attacking her, told me to shut up and leave her the f*** alone. I told her that she can yell, but I wasn't raising my voice. This disagreement continued until she grabbed her stuff, knocked one of my plants on the ground, and left, slamming my door while cursing me out, calling me a mother f*****, a stank a** b****, and others.
